I like the answer, though you probably won't have to leave and rejoin if you do /csay because the player won't know who the admin is. But either way works!

Ok so you muted the player and now he is using his name to send messages on the server. What do you do?

What do you mean by "he is using his name to send messages" ? Wouldn't the mute stop his ability to communicate?

It doesn't prevent him from changing his name.

Ah i understand.
In that case i would look at the log ( I presume there is a log that keep tracks of commands) find who i muted, check said player chat history, and if they matched up. Continue with a higher punishment. (Which i believe would be a kick, followed by a ban if continued)

You are on class wars 2nd stage Dustbowl and the server is full. The matchup is red pyros and blue snipers. The first point has been capped and after a few minutes you notice several snipers dancing under the first point. Q1: What do you do? Q2: What if they were pyros?

A1: I would wait ~3-5 minutes before asking the snipers if they wish to end the round quickly or if they will try to win. If I see a majority of the snipers want the round to end, I will lower the time remaining by a certain amount. But if i don't see the majority want the round to end, I'll let them have their fun. Also reminding the snipers that the surrender command exists.

A2; If pyros were dancing on the first point, I would just ask them to play the game as the server was full.
I wouldn't do anything that would require an admin as pyro would have a higher chance of winning the match up against sniper.

Two Questions: You are messaged by someone saying that CW1 has a hacker on it. You jump on under an alias, and start observing the potential hacker. What do you do if you determine he is hacking? What do you do if you are not sure he is hacking?

I would start recording a demo once i jumped on the server, and once I determined that they were hacking, I would ban for 14 days as I would then send the Demo to other admins to make sure I was correct on my judgement (unless it was really obvious, then I would extend the ban to be permanent). But if I couldn't tell if the player was hacking, I would keep the demo to send to other admins, and keep a close eye on this player in the future until the other admins reviewed the demo and made their decision.

Not how I would do it. You have the demo part correct, but if someone is hacking it's a permanent ban. If you aren't sure someone is hacking, you get another admin on (recommended a senior admin) and they can help. if you cant get another admin on, you let the hacker go and share the demo with the other admins, and a decision can then be made.
