A little like the membranes, yes. It's more like the closer to the bump you get, the more resistance there is, and then there's a sudden give after the bump is passed. A big reason some people don't like super clicky keys is if they have headsets that aren't good at blocking outside noise and it annoys them. My parents hate mine because I stay up into the wee hours of the morning and the loud constant clicking can wake them up if I'm typing something long.

Alright, thanks. Mine cancel sound pretty well, not the best, but, enough that something like this would bother me.
