I wouldn't say it discourages people from playing medic, unfortunately I don't believe it is possible to add this feature in.

There's no feature accessible via the config files; we'd have to write our own plugin code for it.

Do you mean for making assists award .5 points or just making it so they award points in general? Cause if its possible to make it so they do award points then we could make them 1 point and kills 2 points and just increase the reward levels.

It isn't possible to get points from assists as far as I know unless it's coded in. At this point it more than likely isn't going to happen as it would completely change how points are given and how fast they accumulate. If medics get .5 points for an assist, everyone does. You now go from getting on average 2-5 points per life to maybe 10+.

Ohkay was just spit balling ideas. I get it. You can still build stamm up easily.

This is where having someone accustomed to sourcemod/sourcepawn hanging around would be helpful. Stamm makes it easy enough to add in features. We'd just need a function that does (assuming integer stamm points):
1) initialize player counter to 0
2) check if you got an assist (certainly there is some event hook for this)
3) check if you're a medic
4) if 2&3, set counter to counter+1
5) if counter=2, give a stamm point, reset counter

I'll do a bit of fishing in the code to see if I can find where the hook would go.
