TF2 update 7-2-15

Postby Phaiz » July 2nd, 2015, 5:48 pm

While I did mention (possibly) running the new mode for a while with this new update, everyone should know that apparently you will only be able to do the contracts on Valve servers. This really isn't a surprise because they don't trust us and they can't wait for the day when all the community servers to vanish.

Today's update also introduces contracts, which currently require players be on official servers to complete. Unfortunately, our current setup makes it very difficult to restrict features like this other than in an all-or-nothing manner, and we determined this was necessary to protect the system from immediate abuse.

adding to the salt, it's buggy right now. Scoring points as sniper but it didn't register at all!

The Orange server crashes should be fixed. That server is just going to crash any time Valve changes weapons because of an extension that server uses (until an updated version is released).

It's a visual bug. Hud_Reloadscheme brings your points to their true number. You also have to turn the game off and back on to collect your reward for some reason.
